Come to Monday's Board of Ed Meeting, where a vote on our Park is scheduled.

Three days from now, on Monday, May 23rd, our County Board of Education is scheduled to have an evening meeting. On their "consent agenda" (items to be voted on without discussion) for 7:20 PM is approval of a contract with an architectural firm to develop a site plan to replace Rock Creek Hills Park with a middle school complex.

Most of us had only hours notice before the Board's arbitrary and unreasonable April 28th proclamation that they would seize our small park. Now, at least we have a few days notice of Monday's meeting, at which they intend to vote to spend taxpayer money on a site plan.

Let's go!

Join friends of Rock Creek Hills Park at the Board meeting! That's at the Carver Educational Services Center, 850 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, MD 20850. Bring signs!
THEY SHOULD ADMIT IT JUST WON'T FIT

BUILD SMART NOT STUPID

PARKS ARE BLESSED NOT "VACANT"

KIDS NEED PARKS AND ALWAYS WILL
Talk with neighbors; carpool; try to arrive around 6:30 PM. Over the weekend, look for updates on our park's facebook page.
