Two pictures are worth a thousand words.

We finally have what I hope is an accurate map of the former Kensington Junior High site. A current map is on the left; the old map on the right:

It appears that the old school wrapped around the current playing field, somewhat above where the Kensington Park retirement community is now, and also stood on the parking lot and skate park of the current Rock Creek Hills Park. I apologize that some of the things I said and wrote about the sites turn out to have been incorrect. Some confusion is to be expected following a surprise announcement with no community consultation. Even now, it would be helpful to have a precise overlay, vs. this side-by-side comparison.

The maps show that today's park site is much smaller than the old KJH site, now that the retirement community has been built.

The maps show that the road access to today's park site is much more limited than the road access to the old KJH site, now that the retirement community has been built.
